Michael Cole

March 3, 1960 — January 3, 2025

Michael “Weeze” Cole was born March 3, 1960, in Los Angeles, California, to Johnny Cole and Eunice Mae (Edwards) Cole. He passed from this life on January 3, 2025, in Bakersfield, California, at the age of 64.
Michael met his soulmate, Dena Bleeker, in 1998 and together they made their home in Okemah for the past two decades. They built a beautiful life centered around both their children in Okemah and his children in California.
Michael was a proud member of the Moments of Blessings Church in Sacramento, California, and he carried his faith with him throughout his life, no matter where the road took him.
Michael was a beloved father, grandfather, and brother. His life was first and foremost defined by his love and devotion for his family. Michael’s second love was his passion for classic cars. He was an active member of the car club, Rollers Only. There he found joy in sharing his enthusiasm for vintage cars, particularly 1960’s models of Lincolns and Oldsmobile Cutlasses. Michael was known for his incredible attention to detail, and got great satisfaction from both restoring and driving these timeless classics. His purple Oldsmobile Cutlass was his pride and joy and a testimony to his great talent in restoration.
Michael was a hard worker and dedicated to his trade of long-haul trucking. He was a skilled driver and covered countless miles during his impressive forty-six-year career. Michael loved driving the open road, especially when it was behind the wheel of a Peterbilt semi-truck. He built a reputation as a hard-working, dependable trucker who took pride in every mile he traveled.
Michael valued family above all else. His generosity and kindness will forever be remembered by those fortunate enough to know him and he will be deeply missed. His legacy of love, faith, and passion for life will continue to inspire all that knew him.
