Myrtle Hart

Myrtle Hart was born on December 15, 1930, in Cordell, Oklahoma,
to Roy Denning Cochran and Nancy (Britton) Cochran. She passed away
peacefully on September 30, 2024, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, at the age of 93.
Myrtle married the love of her life, Robert Junior Hart, in 1952. Together
they built a beautiful life centered around their love and dedication to each
other and their ten children until his passing in 1994.
Myrtle was a beloved mother, grandmother, and sister. She was a
homemaker who lived a full life devoted to her family, farm, and the simple
joys that filled her heart. She was a proud farm wife that found fulfillment
in the pleasures of country living. Myrtle had a passion for gardening and
her greatest pride was canning the fruits of her labor to share with her loved
ones. She was a lifelong lover of country music and enjoyed filling her time
making beautiful quilts. In Myrtles later years, she found companionship
and comfort in her cherished miniature pinscher, Buddy, who remained by
her side until her final days.
Myrtle’s legacy lives on through her children and grandchildren, in the
treasured memories she leaves behind. She will be remembered for her
unwavering love, her hardworking spirit, and her joy for life on the farm.
Her presence will be deeply missed, but her memory will forever be a source
of strength and comfort to those who knew and loved her.
Myrtle is survived by her children, Virginia Cue of Oklahoma City, Donna
Hart of Shawnee, Jack and wife, Evelynn Hart of Oklahoma City, Mark
and wife, Rebecca Hart of Mcloud, Daniel Hart of Mcloud, Russell Hart of
Oklahoma City, Dick and wife Laura Hart, of Oklahoma City, Rena Nance
of Oklahoma City, Walter and wife, Jennifer Hart of Mcloud, her brother,
Louis and wife, Diane Cochran, of Washington, numerous grandchildren,
great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren, and a host of relatives
and friends.
Myrtle was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Nancy (Britton)
Cochran, her husband, Robert Junior Hart, her daughter, Linda Tillison, her
sister, Bonnie Burch, her brothers, George Cochran and Clarence Cochran,
her grandson, Daniel Grunden, and her granddaughters, Nancy parker,
Diane Parker, and Tina Hart.
A funeral service to honor Myrtle's life is set to be held on Friday, October 4, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Community Care Funeral Service Chapel in Okemah, Oklahoma. Following the service, she will be laid to her final rest at Okemah Cemetery in Okemah, Oklahoma
